Stones Unturned is a fan-zine for the Dungeon Crawl Classics Roleplaying Game.

This 24 page sandbox is designed for 3-5 players, each starting with 4 level 0 characters. Alternatively, it should be possible to adapt it for a game with a more extensive group of 4-20 players, regardless of their character levels, in the style of a "West Marches" persistent world.

The player characters live a relatively uneventful yet harsh life as peasants in a medieval-like feudal society. To alter their destinies for the better, they must embark on expeditions into an uncharted region just beyond the borders of their known lands. The further they delve into the untamed wilderness the greater the dangers and sweeter the rewards become. Eventually, they might discover the entrance to an 8-level subterrean world of forgotten ages and buried secrets.

Those who brave their way into the deepest chambers of this eldritch charnel may decide the fate of kingdoms above and worlds beyond.
